Rebecca "Becky" Jacobson, LPC, ATR, LMT
I work with people of all ages facing issues related to grief and loss, life transitions, stress, anxiety, life purpose, personal identity, interpersonal relationships, and more. My approach stems from my training as an art therapist and counselor, as well as my training in mind-body practices such as yoga, meditation, and other grounding and centering techniques. I completed my Masters in Art Therapy & Counseling in 2012 at the George Washington University. Since then I have worked with individuals, families, and groups in hospice, bereavement, mental health, and community settings. I provide a non-judgmental and secure environment where individuals are encouraged to share their story in new and creative ways, build upon their strengths, and find new meanings and opportunities for fulfillment.

Christine Glasser Lamps, LCSW, CEDS
I obtained my BA from the University of Virginia (1994) and my MSW from the University of Michigan (1997). I specialize in treating children and adolescents as well as adults with difficulties such as depression, anxiety, and eating disorders. I also specialize in treating teen girls with self-harming behaviors. Additionally, I enjoy working with couples to strengthen their marriage, as well as parents and children going through divorce. I believe therapy works best when clients set their own goals, are willing to try new skills, and are open to examining their own role in the system. I have extensive experience and training with both individual, group and family based approaches to treatment. I also offer clinical supervision for clinicians pursuing Licensure. I have been practicing as an Licensed Clinical Social Worker since 2000. I received my Certification as an Eating Disorder Specialist in June of 2016.

Lynda Leslie, LCSW
I am a wife, mom, grandmother and friend to name a few of the many hats I wear outside of the office. I work well with those who have problems in living as well as family and relationship issues. I am strong in working with couples who need some fine tuning in their relationships and I easily journey with those who are depressed or anxious. I also treat children using play therapy techniques. For many years I have worked with individuals and groups of women who have experienced sexual abuse. I am well versed in anger management and domestic violence as I have been facilitating these types of groups for 12 years.
It is my belief that in therapy the client is in charge and we work as a team to accomplish a goal. I am an eclectic therapist; however I most often utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. My goal is to keep the client in charge of their own recovery and I totally believe and support every individual’s desire for self determination.
Both my undergraduate and graduate degrees in Social Work are from VCU. I may be reached at (804)334-7563.

Sarah McElroy, PhD
I am a Licensed Clinical Psychologist who specializes in working with children, adolescents, young adults and families. I obtained my M.A. in Psychology at the University of Richmond and my Ph.D. in Clinical Child Psychology at Bowling Green State University. I completed two years of post-graduate training at the Virginia Treatment Center for Children, which included some work at the Richmond Juvenile and Family Relations District Court.
I provide therapy to a variety of clients, including those who have experienced trauma, have trouble adjusting to significant life changes and stressors, suffer from anxiety, depression or bipolar disorder, engage in self-injurious behavior, have social and/or relationship difficulties, are questioning their own sexuality and/or identify, have behavioral problems, have symptoms associated with (higher-functioning) Autism Spectrum Disorder. I encourage parent involvement and do a lot of parent training, especially for children who have behavioral problems and/or ADHD. I have a specialized interest in working with youth and young adults who have experienced sexual abuse / assault, as well as with children whose parents are involved in the court system because of litigation surrounding custody / visitation.
I most frequently rely on cognitive-behavioral, mindfulness and family systems theories. But at my core I am a Rogerian therapist – I believe we all have an inherent desire for personal growth and the ability to fulfill our own potential, and therapists facilitate this growth by being genuine, having unconditional positive regard for our clients and accurate empathetic understanding.
